Kneeling winged monster
A guardian demon carved in stone in China fifteen centuries ago, turning slowly under gallery light.
The 3D model was published by the Smithsonian, from a scan of the real piece. We gave it the light, so that the face and the folds read as it turns, all the way round to the rough stone at the back.
This is the work a museum needs when it already has the model of a piece and wants it on a gallery screen or on its website.
