Hand coffee grinder

A hand coffee grinder that starts as a CAD file and ends up on the screen of a trade fair stand.

We drew it ourselves, the way an engineering office would send it, with its fourteen parts. The catalogue stills came from that file. The exploded view and the cross section show the conical burr inside the body.

The same model gives the line drawings for the instruction manual and the silent turntable for the stand monitor. Then the thirty second spot, first the animatic to settle the shots and then the film.

The grinder is a sample product created by the studio.
